Was by far the smallest airport I’ve ever been to. The flight in to Williston was ok . But waiting to board on the flight home they over booked the flight by 10 people . That’s just a joke if you ask me . Had to wait there while they were trying to bribe people into taking a later flight . I can’t see how that place gets more the. 3-4 flights a day . I understand it’s a busy time of year for travel but . It just blows my mind how they over booked a 50 passenger plane by 10 people .
It's definitely a small airport but since they expanded it, it is really nice. And since you no longer have to take great lakes the flights are great too! Usually pretty clean.
This airport apparently has ONE MECHANIC on call today and because this ONE MECHANIC decided to go out for a drink, our flight is on hold until a FAA APPROVED MECHANIC DRIVES UP FROM MINOT and pours oil in one of the engines!!!!! Seriously, I’m over this bs of flying locally....there’s ALWAYS an issue!!!! Now we are going to miss our connection in Denver and if we don’t get to Houston tonight, we will miss our flight to Mexico for the trip I worked hard to earn through my company!!!! I’m soooo upset and I know the rest of the passengers sitting here are feeling the same way!!! I would like to suggest that instead of spending millions of dollars to build a new airport that you hire a couple local FAA APPROVED MECHANICS THAT DON’T DRINK!!!!!!!!!!!
I have flown out from this airport about 10 times, and every time except for 2 occasions our flight was late to Minneapolis. We always end up missing our connection flight. This airport does not know how to make their aircrafts leave the airport on time. The problem is always weight and balance and oh "well give you a $500 voucher" which does not work. Their other excuse is that the mechanic went on break or he is on his way and never shows up. How do they think it makes you feel when you book your vacation and have to cut back on a day and be all stressed on your vacation. Hire more people, hire a few mechanics, build a new airport, get new airplanes DO SOMETHING. You never know if when you leave your house your going to reach your destination the same day. This place is ridiculous doesn't even deserve one star!
over priced flights. airline staff is not personable anymore. it is convenient but if you have the ability fly out of a different city.
